1. Scope
This policy describes how Persona may receive, review, and respond to legal requests for account, content, or technical information.
It applies to subpoenas, court orders, preservation requests, lawful disclosure demands, and emergency requests related to immediate harm.
2. How to submit requests
Legal requests should be sent to [email protected] and must come from an authorized government body, court, regulator, or legally empowered representative.
Persona may decline to review informal, incomplete, abusive, or clearly invalid requests.
3. Required information
A request should clearly identify the requesting authority, legal basis, affected account or content, requested records, and applicable deadlines.
Persona may require additional details to verify scope, authenticity, necessity, and jurisdiction before taking action.
4. User notice and disclosure
Where Persona reasonably believes it is lawful and appropriate, it may notify affected users before disclosure or enforcement action.
Persona may withhold notice when legally prohibited, when there is a serious safety risk, or when doing so could compromise an investigation.
5. Emergency requests
Persona may consider emergency disclosure requests involving an imminent risk of death, serious physical harm, or similarly urgent threats.
Emergency treatment is exceptional and may still require sufficient information to assess authenticity and necessity.
6. No guarantee
Persona reviews legal requests at its discretion and does not guarantee disclosure, preservation, response time, or any specific enforcement outcome.
This policy does not create contractual obligations, legal advice, or a duty to act beyond applicable law.
